Compact Parker PGP020 Hydraulic Pump for Space-Sensitive Systems
Description:
Perfect for systems where space is at a premium, the Parker PGP020 hydraulic pump offers high performance in a compact form factor. Despite its smaller size, this pump maintains exceptional efficiency, operating smoothly at pressures up to 250 bar. Its compact design is ideal for mobile and portable hydraulic systems, such as those found in forestry equipment and compact loaders. Its advanced engineering ensures low noise operation, making it a preferred choice for applications where quiet operation is required.
Multiple Units
PGP020 pumps and motors can be assembled in tandemto provide additional pump flow or more motor torquefrom on the drive shaft. Each gear seetion is connectedto the drive shaft by a connecting shaft. The strengthof the shafts (their PL faetor)determines themaximum gear width the pump or motor can turnat a given pressure.
To determine the unit's PL, multiply the operating pressure (P) by the total gear width ().Example: Assumea PGP020 pump will be operating at 3000 psi and havea 1%" gear housing. Multiply the total gear width of 1%by the operating pressure.
(1.5" gear width X 3000 psi)= 4500
This pump needs a drive shaft with a PL factor of 4500or more to operate successfully, The Pl factor for eachdrive shaft is given on pages 10 and 1l.NO'TE: In accordance with our policy of continuing product development, we reserve the right to change specificationsshown in this catalog without notice
